Ceremonies Between The Pines
We can accommodate up to 150 guests for a ceremony between the pines in the forest. We have built comfortable wooden benches in an area that lends itself to an intimate feeling for your ceremony, with the smells and sounds of the forest all around you. We provide power, fully equipped restrooms and there is secure on-site parking and waste disposal. There are no additional charges from Knotwood Forest for photography, videography or drone footage, and the venue is available from 08h00 to 17h30 (April to September) / 08h00 to 18h30 (October to March) on the day of your wedding.
You have two options:
SELF-HOSTED CEREMONY (VENUE HIRE ONLY):
The full fee is payable upon booking.
You provide all your own decor for the ceremony. You will have access to the venue from opening on the day of the event and we request that you fully clear all your equipment by 16h00 the day after your wedding.
KNOTWOOD-HOSTED CEREMONY (THE FULL PACKAGE):
Up to 60 guests - R5,000
61 to 100 guests - R6,000
101 to 150 guests - R7,000
A 50% deposit is payable upon booking, with the remainder due one month before the event.
We (by that we mean Ruth personally!) will prepare and oversee everything you need for your special day! Including a freshly cut pine frame with seasonal florals and greenery, herbal confetti, white draping, fairy lights, knee blankets and carpets for comfort, a lectern for your minister or officiator, and a table and chairs for the registry. If there's anything we don't have (e.g. you want to add a particular theme like feathers), you are welcome to provide your own and we'll incorporate them. We'll set it all up for you, and take it all down, so we take all that hassle off your shoulders - you can simply arrive and enjoy your special day! We treat every wedding uniquely and love being part of your day.
